Storm's Bride - Original Idea

Georgia's family's wealth had dwindled to nothing. She had no future left in Blairsville. Everyone in the family had their place and job, but Georgia didn't. So, she did the only rational thing and became a Bride. Once you become a Bride, you and your family have a better life. What more could she ask?

On the day she arrived at her Bridal school, an Orc was talking to a man in a suit. He was the most handsome Orc she had ever seen. She knew then she had to choose that Orc. No other would ever compare to him.

The Orc she saw on her first day at school came to claim her as a Bride two years later. So now she must learn to live as an Orc and put up with a jealous ex-lover. Who was seriously trying to kill her!

Storm realized that the females of his clan were birthing fewer males each year. He had hoped he would not have to resort to Brides for his men, but with the looming danger of dragons, he was going to need every able body Orc to defend their territory. Unfortunately, this meant more sons had to be born.

After being rejected from several prominent schools, Storm finally came to the Helen School of Brides. That day he saw a commonly human female that made his heart beat faster. He knew deep in his soul that she would be the only one for him.

She claimed him as her husband two years later, and he took her back to his clan. Once there, he made sure she knew how to live as an Orc. Then prepared her for the binding ceremony in the future. Except, now someone was out to kill the woman of his heart. Now he had to make sure she survived, and he found out who was trying to end her life.

Will Georgia survive and become a fellow Orc? Will she fall in love with the Orc she saw two years ago? Or will a jealous ex-lover win and put the human out of her misery?
