As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. Little did I know that my life as a dragon would take more than its fair share of twists and turns. But hey, I was a dragon... Everyone knows you don't mess with dragons. This is the next one to be added up on Royal Road in a couple days, once Broken's current chapters are done being added :)

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. Long ago, there was a world known as Ryugaeia. It was a peaceful world where dragons and humans lived in harmony. Dragons were the keepers of the elements and humans were keepers of the world. Time passed and the Dragons and humans formed an alliance. The Dragons could lend their powers to the humans and the chosen human of each dragon became one with the dragon, inheriting great strength and elemental powers. However there was one dragon Armageddon, a dark dragon who hated humans, jealous of their duty as rulers of Ryugaeia. Armageddon revolted and awakened an army of Dark Dragons, then joining forces with an equally evil human warlord, he terrorized Ryugaeia. When evil was at its peak, a new hope was created. It was the Dragonhaärt. All the good dragons combined their spirits and a Dragonheart was born. This heart could control all dragon powers put together and Armageddon was defeated and sealed. This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon.
