"Sick," The one word used to describe my entire existance. No human dreamed of being in my shoes, no mentally sane person hoped that at the age of sixteen they'd have stage four lung cancer. At the age of fifteen I was given the news that I would be lucky to graduate highschool, and as of right now that seemed like a dream.
Kellin knew his death was slowly approaching, all he ever wanted was to have a chance to be normal, and as of now it seemed his only chance would be to be enrolled in highschool. Kellin never planned on falling in love with Vic Fuentes, he never planned on causing him so much pain, and he never meant to hurt everyone around him, but in the end its all inevitable when your cursed with cancer.

When he's roommates with Kellin (18), a boy who doesn't like to talk to anyone, and is isolated and closed off, spends most of his time drawing; Vic doesn't know what's wrong with his roommate, he simply thinks that Kellin's insane, and that he doesn't belong with someone like Kellin. Vic doesn't think he needs to be in that place at all. But they are forced to spend time with each other. Until the two boys make an unlikely connection they never saw coming. Warnings: I'm saying this now, and it goes toward the entire story; there are going to be a lot of references to suicide and self harm and other mental illnesses and things associated with them so if that makes you uncomfortable then don't read.
