"My love when will you learn not to run from me",Elijah whispered huskily in the shell of my ear. He cornered me into a wall before he Threw both of my hands up and pinned them down with one of his massive hands. I clenched my thighs feeling pressure that always seems to be there whenever he's around. He put his nose in the air. He bared his teeth growling oh so sexily. Snap out of it!! My body being a traitor to my mind. I threw my head back and moaned and wrapped my legs around him. When I lifted it back up there was my Eli, I lifted his now green eyes staring intently into mine. He took a deep breathe in and set me down before walking away. Stupid hormones.

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
