Katie Katherine Kapur is a 23 years old Christian Indian-American Pansexual MBA Student living in New York. Her life is overshadowed by the loss of her father who was an important figure in her life. 

She is best friends with Rodiat Kennedy;  A Bisexual Nigerian-American Classmate and "Sweetie" Jasmine Khalifa. Her only Pluz Size Straight Syrian-American Neighbour. 

Katie's family has a lot of problems. Her mom Jennifer "Jenny"  runs an unsuccessful cafe with Jasmine's elder sister, "Jazz" Jasper Khalifa which has led to financial issues. Her younger brother, Sid "Siddharth Kapur" is a disabled basketball avid fan but cannot play due to his disability and her younger adopted sister, "Gia" and Gianna and Jennifer Kapur are constantly hated by her Punjabi Sikh Grandma, Laddo who believes that her adoption led to her son's suicide. 

Katie prays to Jesus one night for a solution to all of their problems and sees an angel in her vision who is "Amanda Matthews" A South Korean immigrant new from Seoul with her mum who is the niece of Grandma Laddo's love affair; The Asian Grandpa Neighbour next door,  Chris Uncle. 

Amanda solves all of their problems and becomes the love interest of Katie. But there's some predicaments going on?
