This is a Short Shadow and bone AU Of the first battle that I was messing around with from theories and ideas of people on the internet and what they would've preferred because we Love the Darkling no matter how bad he is he still looked hot doing so. This story is set after Alina spent some time Growing her power and building her army, joining her alliance with the king now that General Kirigan no longer commanded the second army. After a few years this will be the first time Alina and alekzander come face to face again. Not much to say anymore if you want to find out how Alina saves General Kirigan, or did she condemn him to a far worse faith? read away!

All Things Must End
A year after Alina Starkov tears down the Shadow Fold, she is finally able to settle into her peaceful life. There is no more war with Ravka. The Darkling, once her enemy, is now a loyal, protective husband, and a father to their adoptive daughter, Amelia. But all things must end. The Sun Summoner learns that a time of peace can become a time of chaos and upheaval in the blink of an eye. As quickly as one war ends, another can emerge. Behind him, a monster ten feet tall, made of shadow, forms in a menacing stance, ready to carry out his silent orders. I thought I had seen the last of his nichevo'ya a long time ago when we were on opposing sides of the war. I shake my head. "No. No, what are you doing? Wait!" I send the Cut barrelling at the monster. It dissociates into nothing only for another one to take its place. Again, I send the Cut through the abomination, but it was only a diversion. Another one forms behind me, capturing my arms to prevent me from summoning. It holds me above the ground. I kick and scream, but it covers my mouth with its long, slender arm, the other holding me securely to its chest. My breath is labored as I use all of my strength to fight it. It is futile. The Darkling approaches me, stroking his fingers across my cheek as a way to comfort me. It is hard, however, to comfort someone if you are the cause of the distress. The True Saint
A darklina story~How would the story end if the battle at the climax of Seige & Storm between Alina and the Darkling happened at a different place and time-After the Darkling became the reigning king. What would have happened if the Sun Summoner surrendered? Alina Starkov struggles with her feelings towards Aleksander and protecting her country. She is forced into decisions that she did not want to make while at the Grand Palace. The Sun Summoner loses even more control over her life after her marriage to the Darkling. She must gain back control and find a way to save Aleksander's humanity; the lives of innumerous innocent people depend on it. This story is based on the Shadow and Bone trilogy combined with the Netflix show. Alina knows what she is this time..but struggles with learning. When Alina meets Mal, they run off together leaving the Silinas behind. Amira misses her cousin but doesn't ask her to stay. it's later when all are adults that they cross paths again. Amira never went to second army so she joined first army with best friend Nicolas Stark. Being part of the same Regiment she comes face to face with Alina after all these years..but things are different for them. Alina didn't practice as she should of and Amira did..that's why when the day comes that General Kirigan is heading into first army camp..the General's initials are on her neck..being a strong grisha in hiding allows her the benefits of all Grisha. Alina notices but doesn't ask as she knew what her and Amira are but she knew she denied it for Mal.
