This is a Short Shadow and bone AU Of the first battle that I was messing around with from theories and ideas of people on the internet and what they would've preferred because we Love the Darkling no matter how bad he is he still looked hot doing so. This story is set after Alina spent some time Growing her power and building her army, joining her alliance with the king now that General Kirigan no longer commanded the second army. After a few years this will be the first time Alina and alekzander come face to face again. Not much to say anymore if you want to find out how Alina saves General Kirigan, or did she condemn him to a far worse faith? read away!
