Hello reader,

Restricted is my first comprehensive collection of works, with a focus on poetry and prose. These poems and stories found me when I was a Wattpad-obsessed recluse in middle school and have grown with me as I transition into adulthood. Some of the first drafts I first published on this site many years ago. I have revised them countless, countless times, yet I have found myself growing fond of the way my thoughts sound out loud as the years go by. These are those thoughts, stories, and experiences.

Kanesa David-Munroe is a fourth-year student in the Creative Writing program at York University. She writes prose and poetry, with a focus on content development and editorial work.
