The two were rather close, well. All of the empires were close with at least one other empire. Gem had her annoying brother, fWhip. Scott had Jimmy. And Joey...well, he used to have Xornoth. Now, all he has is his villagers.

Sausage has his friend, Pearl. Xornoth was defeated. He's now in a crystal and trapped somewhere under his brother's kingdom. And, Shrub and Katherine had each other in this world of chaos, where their love stood on neutral grounds.

It's sort of an AU, where they all have like some form of power that matches their kingdom. Expect, I didn't give the ones with powers canonly, new ones. EX: Katherine growing flowers naturally (like Isabella from Encanto-)
