"And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. " ~ John Muir

As a 9-year-old girl, Asa began to have terrifying dreams every new moon. At first, she assumed they were nightmares, but randomly waking up in the woods wasn't normal. With each dream came new scars and fears. As the years went by Asa became closed off, never allowing anyone too close to her aside from Ella, a kind spirit who magically appeared up on her 14th birthday. But now people and things are changing all around her and Asa doesn't know how to slow them down.

Will Asa finally be able to escape these dreams and Him or will she always be the Dreamer in the Woods?

***A forbidden romance, mystery-thriller short story*** Due to depression, anxiety and financial issues the 20 year old Arlen stumbles across a forest in the intention of giving it all up once and for all, what he doesn't know is he'll stumble across a beautiful woman who's melodious voice would be like a sign of peace for him. Getting to know her, and finding himself out of his troubles seemed easy but what became hard was to stay friends when they seem to have something much stronger than that. But she has a secret and he's willing to find, why she doesn't let him touch her or see her in the night. WARNING: Contains suicide attempt/thoughts. Copyright © ALYZA 2021
