After realizing the vaccine only works for 36 hours and zombie hordes continue to grow. Even amid an undead Apocalypse, political tensions between nations continue to escalate,while Gerry and his family are still living among survivors in California. There is hope for the world when a virologist named Dr. Morel identifies patient Zero in Mogadishu, from the border of India and develops a vaccine that will - in theory - cure Zombie bites within 24 hours of exposure. Morel's ship sends an SOS after going dark. Lane is recruited to track down the ship in the Geneva waters before his travel sends him to Bangladesh and Singapore too. That journey only becomes more intense now the undead are immune to the camouflage, meaning if Dr. Morel isn't found,they could overwhelm the planet.

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Caused by the owner of the leading company of premium medicines in the World named Dr. Jacob F. Wyre. Matthias Filler a highly intelligent high school graduate, also Dr. Jacob Wyre's nephew and his assistant scientist is trying to end up his apocalyptic plan named Project Scrutiny, by doing this, Matt is going to enhance his own cure that can discharge it's airborne effect uncontrollably. However Matt didn't continue the enhancement of his cure as he noticed something about the outbreak, it turns out that Dr. Jacob's apocalyptic scheme had a very important purpose for the World even though it destroyed most of the human race, as Dr. Jacob knew that there is something very diabolic is go to come soon and the only way to battle them is to let him fulfill his plan. Does Matt is going to believe his uncle that something very bad are coming soon and the only way to fight it is to let the undead apocalypse continue all the way, or not and let himself to spoil his uncle Jacob's plan? After the war ended, A few months passed. The state of Lancet was attacked. The central city; Karnas and the city of Velis was first to be targeted with the other cities status unknown. The country Avero that was subdued in the war a few months ago has launched an attack on the country of Novadel but it was something else, something dangerous they've hidden from the world and a large threat for everyone. Erin who retired from the military after the war is now just another traveler waiting for her flight for vacation in Aerodome until the world outside suddenly begins to fall apart. An unknown virus is spreading and ravaged the central city of Karnas that managed to reach Velis, Erin is now forced into a fight for survival. She ventures into the city of Velis and it's occupied surroundings. The more of the destruction caused by this unknown virus unfolds before her and this is what seems to be the start of a second war not with just humans but something more frightening and deadly.
