He doesn't enjoy being around people, particularly Sonic due to his annoyingly enthusiastic personality contrasting to his own serious, focused one. No one has ever been able to make Shadow feel the way Maria has. No one has been able to make him hope again. On the night of Princess Sally's Birthday Ball, a truth is revealed to Amy about Sonic. Something...unexpected, causes her to run away from the party ashamed. That same night she shows someone the extent of her strength that she holds back. It's safe to say he's impressed... When they're now teens Amy had finally realized that Sonic would never accept her love and be her boyfriend, which would probably never happen on the actual Sonic series. After that, her heart had fallen in yet another hedgehog named Shadow. He has a toddler bat daughter named Shannon who he adopted when he found her in a basket as only an infant. Shannon was now in training to learn how to fly which Shadow was teaching her and Amy decided that he would help her out. As they did, they started to fall in love each other. But not all couples come together that easily as a certain person would try to end that chance by trying to take Shannon from Shadow at all costs. Who is that someone. You would have to read to find out!

Shadow struggles with his feelings for Amy knowing well she doesn't reciprocate. Her love for Sonic was indestructible. However one mission at Eggmans base changed all of their lives forever. Has TRAGIC events... that may or may not be solved don't want to spoil! I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development. No hate or you will be blocked/muted.)
