"come on tyler, leave me alone." [y/n] says tiredly, opening the door to her locker. the door is plastered with photos of her friends and stickers that she collects.
"im just sayin', she's weird!" tyler replies.
"sometimes i hate having a locker next to yours, no, always. i always hate it." he shook his head and laughs.
[y/n] took a blue notebook titled 'mathamatics' out of her locker.
tyler opens his locker. the inside of its door is decorated with pictures of his friends that he taped there.
he takes out a notebook with 'mathmaticks' crossed off the front cover. just 'math' is rewritten underneath it.
"yeah right, you could never hate me, loser."

you, [y/n], a thirteen year old girl have been exposed to the ways of tyler since you met in third grade. you only met because your parents reconnected. after they left college, they lost touch. your parents met up a few times and then introduced you.
naturally, tyler was a huge jerk to you, and still is. you began to hang out more, not by choice, but by your parents.
you notice that he frequently teases and embarrasses your friend meilin and her friend group. abby always tells you every time he made her upset.
after your previous failed attempts at stopping tyler from teasing them, you give up. with this free reign, he continues to make fun of them, but feels like somethings missing.
it might just be you.
[she/her]
