TW: toxic relationship, obsession, death
When Duke Sawyer loses the love of his life, he knows he would only disappoint his love by joining him in death. He chooses pain. Every second of every day. Anything that hurts is the only thing that makes him feel better. So when he moves to a new school, he unintentionally becomes obsessed with the worst bully there, who brings the pain that he thinks he needs to keep living life.
