James Rhys, the 25 year old Crown Prince of Agramonté, a small European country, has long set into his role as just that, a Prince. One final trip across  seas as a single man leads James in the heart of New York City wIth his two best friends, Maxwell and Percy, where he meets Blaze Devoil, a 24 year old bartender. 

Blaze would've never thought her small bartending job would have her crossing path with a Prince. The night James sat in one of the booths at her bar she felt a connection that she never felt with anyone. So when she was given the opportunity to fly across the world and compete for James' hand amongst socialites and royals, she didn't hesitate. 

 But life in the royal circle isn't just tiaras and ball gowns. Blaze quickly learned the hard way that everything that glitters is not gold. Between overbearing press, jealous royals, and a pool of scandals, and many secret outings with the Prince, Blaze realizes there may never be such thing as a, "Happy Ever After."

While there, Adellia meets a young blacksmith by the name of Faron and gets sucked into a plot that goes against her, and her mother's wishes. Will she be able to venture into the unknown, and survive out of the watchful eye of the palace? This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second. When the second part/book has been finished, I'll decide whether I like it as one book or to reincorporate the rest of the book to make it one. Entered in the Wattys(2020)!
