James Rhys, the 25 year old Crown Prince of Agramonté, a small European country, has long set into his role as just that, a Prince. But when his oldest brother, Jelani, the soon-to-be King, decides to step away from the royal life at the beginning of social season, James' usual mingling and photo ops, are packed on when he is now forced to find a wife by the end of the season. One final trip across seas as a single man leads James in the heart of New York City wIth his two best friends, Maxwell and Percy, where he meets Blaze Devoil, a 24 year old bartender.

Blaze would've never thought her small bartending job would have her crossing path with a Prince. The night James sat in one of the booths at her bar she felt a connection that she never felt with anyone. So when she was given the opportunity to fly across the world and compete for James' hand amongst socialites and royals, she didn't hesitate.

But life in the royal circle isn't just tiaras and ball gowns. Blaze quickly learned the hard way that everything that glitters is not gold. Between overbearing press, jealous royals, and a pool of scandals, and many secret outings with the Prince, Blaze realizes there may never be such thing as a, "Happy Ever After."

The sequel to The Royal Bodyguard Lord Lucas Whitlock was taught how to be a royal at a very young age. He never wanted to take the throne away from the Renaldi's since he respected Queen Clarisse for taking him in after his parent's death. But God always has other plans for you. Five years after Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi claimed her birthright, Lucas was right beside her every step of the way, as her boyfriend. But that all changed as soon as they got to Genovia after Mia finished college and even during her twenty-first birthday party. Enter two individuals: Lord Nicholas "Las" Devereaux: a dear friend to Lucas who he plans to name Godfather to Mia and his children when they decide to have some. Someone whose uncle has practically forced him to try and take the crown even though Lucas would be the next one to gain it. Even if his plan to was to steal the crown, he definitely didn't mind tossing the plan out the window for a headstrong and beautiful woman, one that he firmly believed was the descendant of an Egyptian princess. -----------And-------------- Lady Nefertiti "Fern" Whitlock: Lucas's closest and dearest cousin. Lucas's father was Nefertiti's uncle. Nefertiti's parents were obsessed with Egyptian dynasties and taught her everything about them. Nefertiti never expected to be noticed by the sole person who is trying to steal the crown from her cousin and his fiance, but she wouldn't change it for the world. After all, this did get him off of her cousin's back and she finally had someone who loved her. "We danced and I flirted. God, I feel like an idiot, cousin." "Nah, don't. It's nice to see you all blushy, Fern. Besides Las is completely whipped for you." "Like you were for my granddaughter, Lucas?" "MOVING ON!"

Adellia has grown up surrounded by rules and regulations. She's been prepped from birth to eventually reside in the throne that has been in her family for what feels like forever. Unfortunately, her destiny is quickly approaching. Her father is dead, and her mother has only a couple of months to live according to doctors. All eyes in the castle, and kingdom, turn to Adellia expecting her to step into her mother's shoes. However, both women aren't ready to give up their lives just yet. Wanting to learn more about her kingdom, and the people of it, before she is forced into an arranged marriage and the throne for the rest of her life, Adellia ventures out into the kingdom to do just that. While there, Adellia meets a young blacksmith by the name of Faron and gets sucked into a plot that goes against her, and her mother's wishes. Will she be able to venture into the unknown, and survive out of the watchful eye of the palace? This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second. When the second part/book has been finished, I'll decide whether I like it as one book or to reincorporate the rest of the book to make it one. Entered in the Wattys(2020)!
