Clara Warner lives by herself, works at Starbucks, and only has one friend by the name of Lisa Lowery. On Clara's birthday, her friend surprises her with the best gifts ever. Two tickets and backstage passes to a Marilyn Manson concert, and for the following day, two tickets and backstage passes to a My Chemical Romance concert. In those two days, Clara discovers some things that will change her life forever.
