It's been weeks since the cookies of darkness crumbled after Dark Enchantress Cookie was sealed away. They all have been scattered and some captured. Strawberry Crepe Cookie was captured and now was serving time in a jail in the cookie kingdom.
If only that was the end. The cookies decided that, since they were a child, that they should be able to reform themselves for the greater good. Crepe strongly disagrees.
My writing is not nearly as bad as my descriptions, I promise.

An AU where Espresso was raised with the Cookies Of Darkness. Since he was merely a child, Espresso's one and only desire was to prove his worth to Dark Enchantress, his mother. He and his siblings were taught to despise the Vanilla Kingdom and its inhabitants, sparking an endless war between the light and the dark. Madeleine is a paladin of the Divines, the Vanilla Kingdom's knight commander and savior, and almost immediately he is intrigued by the coffee mage on the opposing side. He is convinced that good exists in Espresso's heart, along with the hopes that he'll join them. A violent circumstance leads to Espresso being captured and held within the castle walls of the Vanilla Kingdom with no magic and nobody to help him. But of course, this was all but a great opportunity for Madeleine to persuade the stubborn mage into leaving the Cookies of Darkness behind. Against his liking, Espresso had no other choice but to play along for now. All he had to do was keep up the charade and not get attached.
