Reckless Princess/ barstool warmer Tiana Baragruv has been skirting her duties since the moment she could walk, but when her mother falls ill and her father fails to arrive back home on time, the responsibility of running their island kingdom becomes her own.

Things aren't easy. There's a religious war brewing between the newer and older parts of her kingdom, and with the intervention of a vengeful mage, things are about to get a lot worse.
