Because of the efforts of the mage rifts almost never happen anymore, but as time went on the good deeds of the mage have long been forgotten. The current clockwork mage Kris was chosen as rifts have begun to form again will he adapt to the massive change in their daily lives and be able to do the duties that are now their responsibility?
