Lilo Lewis is a 24 year old adventurous girl, living in the tropical Hawaiian island Oahu with her father in a small neighborhood of Kailua.
When not on the beach and catching waves with her childhood friends or jumping from the picturesque waterfalls, she works in her fathers nature food cafe to save for her own business. Ever since she was a little girl and her father taught her to surf, she had a dream to start a surfing shop and teach others to enjoy what she loves.
29 year old James Buchanan Barnes buys an vacation home in the Island, deciding it would be a great escape from the busy and crowded city life in New York. His father, George Barnes, passed away due to an overdose. George Barnes was a successful lawyer and owner of G Barnes Law. His son was next to take over the big roll.
James grew up in the big city, used to drift of to sleep from the noise of the heavy traffic. Not to mention how well known he was for being a handsome and wealthy bachelorette.
Little did they know, that the new neighbors would bring each other along on a shaky rollercoaster ride. The harmony on the island was never going to be the same, the darkened daily life of James would leave an imprint on the ray of sunshine. The truth about the family business would soon be showing its real and wicked side.
