He couldn't bare to separate with her so he has adopted her as his own. But he already has a boy named Alex that he adopted at the age of 6, he is 17 that has been through trauma too. Mike is trying to work threw both kids and help them on their journey to adult hood. Alex disowns Lily right away. But as a things happen these kids realize that people can love them and they can love them selves. Lily and Alex soon start to help each other in more ways then one.
