That Isn't It (Kuroko no Basuke: Kuroko Tetsuya Fanfiction)

Nana, a runaway, has been living with her distant aunt in Japan. She just couldn't handle anymore of her family, so she ran away forever. She left no trace behind and no one knows who she is. She's that type of quiet person and is very distant from the crowd. She doesn't speak to people who she dislikes. She takes trust seriously and only trusts people very close to her.

She soon enters Seirin High wishing to have a new start with her life. Her past was tragic and heartbreaking, so she wants to have a new beginning. A beginning where she'll know she will be okay. A place where she can be someone else for just a brief moment.

"Is this not it? The place you have been longing for so long?"

Tears streamed down my face as I stared at him with his arms open. A gesture not only for a hug, but to see if I will accept this new beginning that is facing me right at the moment.

I thought for a moment, 'Are these insignificant feelings? Or are these true feelings? Is this not it? The place I have been longing for? I worry everyday, thinking they will leave me, but that isn't it.'
