So this is just a poem I wrote for a school competition and I want to share my excellence with you guys. I'm just joking. I don't really care if no on reads it because I want it on my profile as a reminder for me that I'm really proud of myself:). I mean I would appreciate if at least someone reads it but honestly I don't mind if it gets no reads at all.
This poem's about the early stages of a break up (althought I've never been in one). I wanted to write from this perspective as it's terribly easy to write from the position of someone who has been hearbroken. To anyone who reads it, hope you like it:)

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away. "I'm sorry." I managed to croak. I reached out to touch his hand but he retracted it quickly and harshly. "What the fuck are you thinking? You love me, Penny." He yelled, looking at me sternly as I felt them again. Tears prickled at my eyes, I felt it again. All the pain was rushing back and it was because I realized in that moment that I was hurting the one I loved most. Harry. I loved Harry. But what was I supposed to do? Tell him now, when he was so mad at me. He leaned down to me and kissed me, but I couldn't react. I didn't, I didn't move, I didn't reach up to wrap my arms around him and my lips didn't feel. "Fucking react!" He yelled as he pulled away, making me cover my eyes with my forearm and roll over and cry. "I'm done Penny, either you love me or you don't. It's me or Louis. Make up you're mind." "I can't keep doing this," he said as he stopped and glanced back at me. "You can't keep running either," I said loudly. That made him turn and face me fully. "Me? I'm the one always running? What about you? You've ran how many times in the past? You've let everyone else control our relationship. Everyone but me!" "You told me to leave you alone," I yelled. "You said you didn't want any of this anymore. You left the fucking country! You went and never even considered what that would do to me!" "I lied too Louis! You hurt me and I wanted to hurt you back!" he yelled. "Maybe a friendship is out of the question. Our relationship is beyond repair. All we do is lie to each other." He turned to walk out again and he opened the door. I rushed to him and reached for his arm. "Harry don't go please." I had never stopped him from leaving before. This time my heart wouldn't let me let him go. "You said you cared and you missed me too." I spoke in a low voice and used his own words against him. A low thing to do but I needed him to understand how much I was hurting. Note: this is a story of pure fiction. When I first heard One Direction's "She's Not Afraid" on their newest album, Take Me Home, I immediately got ideas to write a fanfiction inspired by the song's lyrics. So here are my thoughts written down in one story, people! :) Blurb: 21-year old Louis Tomlinson is a normal college student studying at London University: He’s living a good social life with his four best friends, partying and making plans for his very near future. But then something new and unpredictable got pushed into the picture: Love. Before Louis knows it, he’s fallen for a girl that he barely knows - and she is basically the definition of a "wild child". Bag of Bones (Larry Stylinson)
Harry steps closer until they are toe to toe, Louis slightly tilting his head to look into his eyes. They're so close, yet they feel miles away. Louis almost reaches out to see if Harry's really there, to see if he's actually real, but he keeps his hands at his sides. Harry brings his hand up and gently tilts Louis' head a bit more to bring their lips together easily, this being one of the most familiar things to the both of them. Louis brings his hands up to mirror Harry's, but it feels forced somehow. Louis feels his throat closing, his stomach churning, and his eyes aching as they deepen the kiss. He tries to tell himself that this is good, that this is everything that he needs and wants. Because, really, all he needs is a place to call home and his boy. But this doesn't feel like their home and Harry isn't really his boy anymore. Or I got bored over quarantine and decided to write a super sad oneshot between Louis and Harry based on Mitski's song "Bag of Bones," and it accidentally turned into a little book.Complete

Harry and Louis were the happiest couple, they had everything they could ask for, yes, they were closeted by their management but that didn't matter since they had each other....or so they thought.
