So this is just a poem I wrote for a school competition and I want to share my excellence with you guys. I'm just joking. I don't really care if no on reads it because I want it on my profile as a reminder for me that I'm really proud of myself:). I mean I would appreciate if at least someone reads it but honestly I don't mind if it gets no reads at all.
This poem's about the early stages of a break up (althought I've never been in one). I wanted to write from this perspective as it's terribly easy to write from the position of someone who has been hearbroken. To anyone who reads it, hope you like it:)

Wish I Was Home
"I can't keep doing this," he said as he stopped and glanced back at me. "You can't keep running either," I said loudly. That made him turn and face me fully. "Me? I'm the one always running? What about you? You've ran how many times in the past? You've let everyone else control our relationship. Everyone but me!" "You told me to leave you alone," I yelled. "You said you didn't want any of this anymore. You left the fucking country! You went and never even considered what that would do to me!" "I lied too Louis! You hurt me and I wanted to hurt you back!" he yelled. "Maybe a friendship is out of the question. Our relationship is beyond repair. All we do is lie to each other." He turned to walk out again and he opened the door. I rushed to him and reached for his arm. "Harry don't go please." I had never stopped him from leaving before. This time my heart wouldn't let me let him go. "You said you cared and you missed me too." I spoke in a low voice and used his own words against him. A low thing to do but I needed him to understand how much I was hurting. Note: this is a story of pure fiction. If Harry and Louis are not be together in real life then, we as a fandom, have created a beautiful and tragic love story! I hope you enjoy my work. I put my heart in it. Bag of Bones (Larry Stylinson)
Harry steps closer until they are toe to toe, Louis slightly tilting his head to look into his eyes. They're so close, yet they feel miles away. Louis almost reaches out to see if Harry's really there, to see if he's actually real, but he keeps his hands at his sides. Harry brings his hand up and gently tilts Louis' head a bit more to bring their lips together easily, this being one of the most familiar things to the both of them. Louis brings his hands up to mirror Harry's, but it feels forced somehow. Louis feels his throat closing, his stomach churning, and his eyes aching as they deepen the kiss. He tries to tell himself that this is good, that this is everything that he needs and wants. Because, really, all he needs is a place to call home and his boy. But this doesn't feel like their home and Harry isn't really his boy anymore. Or I got bored over quarantine and decided to write a super sad oneshot between Louis and Harry based on Mitski's song "Bag of Bones," and it accidentally turned into a little book.Complete

"Can you for once be honest with yourself, Louis?" Harry pulls his hair. He is so frustrated with the guy he has been living with for the past few weeks. "I am honest with myself! "I'm sorry." I managed to croak. I reached out to touch his hand but he retracted it quickly and harshly. "What the fuck are you thinking? You love me, Penny." He yelled, looking at me sternly as I felt them again. Tears prickled at my eyes, I felt it again.
