Every 2nd Sunday I will be drawing four cards from my Storymatic prompt box (two yellow and two orange) and be writing a piece of fiction based off the cards I draw. (Short story, flash fiction, whatever it ends up being, I have no control over length of pieces I end up writing)
The cover photo attached to each story part will include the four cards selected for that week's story (so if you don't want any spoilers before reading try not to look!)

| 18+| Sequel to 'The Prince's Choice'| Newly crowned king and queen, William and Jade stand at the brink of war. Their union has enraged William's mother into not just leaving King Uldard but also joining her brother; king Rowan. William's uncle sees this as an opportunity to break an alliance between the two realms with the goal to take the throne from his nephew. A once peaceful union between two kingdoms, has been broken. King Rowan is out to claim the kingdom he thinks should have befallen him after his father died, soon after his sister's hand was given to King Uldard many years ago. After hearing of a secret Jade is carrying, and that she is the only thing keeping William grounded and not his old hotheaded self, Rowan knows that the only way to overthrow the young king is to rob him of the only thing that brings him joy; his queen. And in doing so, he hopes that his nephew will become unfit to rule and lose the support of the people. To succeed, Rowan must find a way to separate Jade from William before the usurper ruins his plan on uniting his own kingdom with his sister's. Tinder and Other Tales
In 2018, I put together a simple draw to challenge myself (and anyone else who wanted to try) with flash fiction prompts made up of three suits of cards, shuffled and drawn. The clubs denoted a genre, the diamonds were an object, and the hearts were a setting. Starting with January (A fairy tale, a tattoo machine, and a prison) and drawing once a month thereafter, over the course of a week with no more than 1,000 words, the idea was to write a flash fiction piece using those prompts. 30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge
This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. "Andromeda" she would announce, finger flexed toward her, and the entire kingdom would erupt in the great hall with shock, as Andromeda of the sky line, was pushed forward by her mother into the mix with her brothers. "Rowan" her father would curse "if you place that ring on her finger your line has ended... please rethink your choice" But Rowan didn't care... and Andy had called out to her long before now, the beautiful brunette with striking green eyes, a daring smile and a powerful magic that Rowan had long admired.
