Ladybug and Cat Noir have always been Paris's perfect partnership until recently. Their constant fighting is getting in the way of fighting Hawkmoth's akumas. The Yin and Yang magic of the miraculous have a plan to fix that. Marinette wakes in the Agreste Mansion, missing her earrings, and Nathalie only sees her as Adrien. Adrien wakes in Marinette's bakery, missing his ring, and Marinette's parents see him as Marinette. 

With their identities revealed, and themselves trapped in the opposites life, the heroes must grow accustomed to living each other's lives and using the opposite miraculous in order to regain the balance needed to be the perfect team.

As Ladybug struggles to find new heroes to replace her friends, whose identities have been revealed to Hawkmoth, Marinette struggles with the sudden changes in her classroom. Adrien seems to have abandoned all his old friends, except for her. As Marinette is pulled between Adrien and Luka, who has a few secrets of his own, she must figure out a way to help Chat Noir and Adrien before it's too late.
