Alden, a Junior in high school had many interests. The Language of Flowers was one of them.
He'd always associated situations and emotions with flowers - especially in his first and recent relationship.
When Alden meets a new boy, it just so happens they share the same interest, and they bond. The Language of Flowers became *their* little thing.
