Rick Grimes woke up alone. He found himself in the hospital without his family and without anyone. 

He was weak, scared, and hungry. His only wishes were to understand what happened with the outside world and to know where his wife Lori and Carl were. But for that, he had to learn about the dead. The Walkers. 

He had a long road ahead of him, but he was determined to find his family. Little did he know, not only he would recieve what he hoped for, but he would be surprised by a past that catched him on and took time and place before he even became Sherriff and met Lori.
