No sooner have I stepped inside than someone speaks up, "Hand over your first born child, Gothel."

I spin around to be faced with a mysterious pair of blue eyes and a wry smile. "Rumplestiltskin." I breathe, "I thought you went off to explore the world."

"I did. Now I'm back. I will expect you to uphold your promise." He says, running a hand through his long, dark hair.

"I made that promise when I was eight." I reply, thinking back.

"I'm never going to get married and I'm never going to have children!" I declared decisively.

"Really?" Rumplestiltskin inquired.

"Yes. Boys are stupid."

"Hey! That's not very nice." Rumplestiltskin whined, putting his hands on his hips.

I stuck my tongue out. "Fine. Then if you are never going to get married, I suppose you won't mind agreeing to give me your first born child." He challenged.

"Alright. Because it will NEVER happen!"

"A promise is a promise." Rumplestiltskin says, "You must uphold your word."

"For your information, this child isn't even mine." I respond.

This takes Rumpelstiltskin by surprise. "She's not?"

I explain what happened. "Well, she is a first born child, and now she's yours, so she IS your first born child." He decides.

***WINNER of the "BREATHTAKING: A FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION NOVEL WRITING COMPETITION!" "You are a secret kept from the world, but not from me." So begins the peculiar message found slipped under a bedroom door on the morning of May first. Theo is the heir to a powerful dictatorship. The number of people allowed to know he exists is few. He has spent his entire life walled up in the Tower, the looming stone monolith from which his father rules over the Land. Merryn is the daughter of political prisoners. She's known who Theo is longer than he would think possible, and she is taking a great risk contacting him via handwritten notes in order to convince him he deserves more than the fate his father has designed for him. She has one month to exchange daily messages with him, to answer his questions and open his eyes to the realities of a world he has never been allowed to see. A revolution is coming to the Land at the end of the month, and if Merryn's notes fail to get their point across, Theo may never live to see the sunrise on June first. A/N: The following letters were originally published each day from May 1st-31st, 2014. As you will see,Theo is allowed to write down a question for Merryn each evening, but you, the reader, won't see these within the body of the story. It may or may not be obvious from Merryn's response what Theo is asking. Part of the fun is guessing what his questions might be, but if you really want to know what they are, a list of those questions is at the end of the story. This story is a re-imagining of Rapunzel. Now, without further ado-I believe a young heir is about to unfold a slip of paper found on the tile floor near his door... Let's see what it says!

Adventure, Romance, Rumbelle and so much more. ❤️ Grab yourself a cup of tea and enjoy this story as a gift between you and me. This story is finished, but may need more editing (has been edited but there could be a couple of errors). A sequel "Living in Light" and prequel "Dreadfully Dark" are in consideration of being made. Please let me know if you think you'd enjoy either. -- This story is about Gideon's unborn twin who was snatched from their mother's, Belle's, womb whilst she was in a sleeping curse. As Rumplestiltskin went to get Belle's father (Maurice) so he could wake his daughter from her sleeping curse, the Black Fairy broke into Rumplestiltskin's house. She swiftly found where her son's (Rumplestiltskin's) wife was laying. She opened her womb and found two tiny fetus. Delighted that she had two pawns to use in her evil plan to deceive Rumplestiltskin to love her and the darkness, she quickly grabbed one and put it into the magical dragon's egg where it would grow until fully developed. She left the other to be snatched at a later time. She sealed the womb and left no trace of her visit. And no trace of the baby. Belle and Rumplestiltskin had no way of knowing that their child had been kidnapped, and the child grew surrounded by darkness. She escapes from the Dark Realm with a purpose. Let's see what it is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The main story is taken from Once Upon a Time and starts with the end of the final battle. A song from Disney's Cinderella, and the ideas as well as a song from Thumbelina are also included. I do not own Once Upon A Time, Cinderella, or Thumbelina.

"You'll stay until I make sure you are not a threat to our pack, little bunny." " Stop calling me a little bunny! Even If I say, who is gonna believe me huh?! They didn't believe me once, what makes you think they will believe me now?! " The little bunny tried to release herself from my grip . "I don't care. You will stay here until I'm convinced that you're not a threat to my pack! " I repeated pulling her even closer if it was possible. " What pack, mate? You use terms I don't understand. What if you decide you are convinced when I'm a 70 year old woman?" When she said 'mate' it was like she called me mate. It was one of the most beautiful feelings I had experienced till that moment. "Then you'll grow old here with me." I smirked. I kind of liked the idea. " I will not grow old with your grumpy face. " She made a disgusted face . Warning: This story does contain smut
