Dr Eggman's so-called strongest creation was able to contribute little to the great conflict, falling to a state of complete shutdown at the hands of a mind-bending sorcerer. For the first time since he swore to destroy the doctor and all that he stood for, Omega had once again been left with nothing to do but ruminate in the darkness of his own faintly-running programming. Before, he could blame the doctor - now, he could blame only himself. Awoken from six excruciating months out of commission, a new feeling of inadequacy begins festering within Omega. The rest of the world seems content in rebuilding the world with meaningless chores, but Omega can't shake the feeling that he's begun losing his focus, losing his touch for combat. Honesty is the Best Policy! {w/Rosy}
This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. (These characters are seen as young adults. The only child depicted in this story is Tails. So, for whoever may be thinking, I am sexualizing minors. You're wrong. I also will say that this book is heavily emotional and has very graphic scenes. So I advise whoever reads this as well to be very open-minded and aware of the triggers I've listened down.)
