"None of the things in the journal actually happened, did it?" Cole finally broke the silence.
For the next few seconds he did not stop staring at the door. It seemed as if he was solving a complex equation back in his mind. The time was passing in painfully slow motion. I kept my eyes glued to his face to notice every small changes and decrypt what that mind is thinking . After what felt like an eternity, a devilish smirk appeared on his stupid face. It started to feel too cold, as if my soul was leaving the body.

At that exact moment, I knew my life would never remain the same.

Lily was living a simple life with decent grades, good behavior, a crush on her senior and a sweet family. She carried the "perfect child" image really well. Far from all this, within the covers of her gratitude journal she lived an alternate life. The Lily in her journals, was way too different and bold. The journal had the Lily and the life she wished for. It was a well kept secret until her recently returned childhood nightmare, Cole Hamilton discovers the truth. Will he create trouble in her paradise?
