I struggle with intrusive thoughts, and one day while telling one of my friends about one of my in depth murder ideation thoughts he expressed his discomfort with it.

up until that point I hadn't realized it was a problem? And fuck did that realization hurt, a lot, it was if I'd just fallen into a hole of no return, my brain clinging to the thought of something so normal for me making someone I deeply care for uncomfortable is crushing and I've been trying to find a way to rid myself of these thoughts.
