Prince Levi doesn't get attention from his parents much since they were always busy. Levi grew up alone, his parents throwing him to the maids most of the time. No one to play with, no one to company him. Everyone just gave him a bunch of toys and expected him to play by himself.
Due to this, Kenny, Levi's uncle, suggests that Kuchel hires a kid butler for Levi, another reason because she was pregnant with Mikasa.
Not alot volunteered to be Levi's butler due to the Ackerman family's terrifying exterior and reputation for being unfriendly.
Until Eren Yeager, a kid was the same age as Levi had volunteered. He was an orphan who had no one else, his parents passing away at a young age, this was his only choice.
And he was supposed to care for Levi and accompany him for as long as he wanted. There was no guarantee he would stay with Levi, it all depends if he wants to.

I apologise that the first few chapters spelling are terrifying as I didn't check them but the other chapter later on in the story are double checked and corrected. Levi met you when you were a child almost around your age but maybe a little older. You had no home so he invited you to live with him and his mother Kuchel. Every time your's and Levi's hair would grow out Kuchel would cut their hair. She would cut Levi's into an undercut and would cut yours half way through your back and sometimes make it wavy like Kuchel's hair. One day you two are suddenly separated, will you find each over again? Even if you do will you two remember each over? Will you remember each over's appearance? Will you like each over? What will happen? I make promises with my soul and only once i have broken one - when it was clear that the one i promised to carry would stab me in the back and leave me to die for sake of ghostly fears - it was that or not win in peace, the victory heaven seeks.
