Everyone was having fun at the beach where the professors promise the recruits to take them in the beach as a reward. But an Decepticon bot Airchnid returns and sets off to get her suspects: Heatwave, Chase, Boulder and Blades. Using a virus to turn them into decepticons, their mission is to attack the autobots and everyone in Griffin rock. With the help of a member of Team prime and an old friend of the rescue bots, Will the recruits be able to turn them back to normal or are they gonna be the newest members of the decepticons?

UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION Roses. Quickshadow had always found those flowers beautiful; and they were so intricate, layer upon layer of petals. She knew nothing about this newspark, or how it came to be born, or what in the name of Primus happened to its carrier--but that was all waiting to be unveiled, just like slowly peeling the petals off of a gorgeous crimson flower. - Things take a turn for the worst when the newest rescue bot finds an abandoned newspark, who she lovingly names Rose, in the woods on the Mainland. Quickshadow decides to take it upon herself to care for Rose while she and the rescue team begin the search for the sparkling's creators. Some of the bots aren't so fond of her plan at first. The tension between Heatwave and Quickshadow thickens when a few pent-up feelings are brought to light, and they quickly begin to realize that they need to set aside their differences (and maybe their emotions) in order to keep the team together as major problems begin to surface. Adopting a helpless, abandoned sparkling doesn't seem so complicated at first, but this one happens to have a dangerous secret, one none of them know. And when that secret casts over the team in a dark shadow with questionable motives and a mysterious links to her past, Quickshadow has to make one of the most difficult choices in her functioning: give up her one chance to save someone she thought she'd lost, or risk everything to protect her new-found family. After the death of Cliffjumper, the autobots were dealt quite the blow, both emotionally and in their numbers. On top of that air superiority is still in the decepticons favor which is still a big problem for the Autobots. But the day after the Autobots try to rescue Cliffjumper; only to find him as an undead terrorcon zombie, Ratchet picks up an autobot signal, but is perplexed to see that it is airborne. Most believe it's a trap, but Optimus believes that it is still worth investigating. As they try to do so the decepticons also pick up the signal. But the signal originator aids the Autobots in driving off the decepticons in his green cargo plane mode resembling a modified Antonov An-225. After the decepticons are dealt with, the jet hovers in front of the Autobots and then transforms into a bot that is nearly equal in height to Optimus himself. Once transformed Optimus immediately recognized who this bot was... his second in command, Jetfire. (A/N: Yes I am using the Transformers Cybertron Jetfire for this fanfic. And he will have his cyberkey power but it will be explained differently in the story.)
