Shouta aizawa is a pro hero and a teacher at ua. His best friend, Hizashi Yamada aka present mic, left him many times. However... this time he left him for longer then usual without contacting him which hurt aizawa very much. In his best friends absent he started cutting, tried suicide but was caught, became an alcoholic, and his sadistic side acted up more often as hizashi wasn't there to calm him. Shouta developed feelings for his best friend but never got the chance or wanted to confess in the fear of being rejected. He finally returns after 6 years and doesn't accept it. Shouta starts throwing up petals, flowers and along with pools of blood. He immediately recognizes it and just accepts death. He does start spending more time with his best friend which makes his disease worse. Hizashi plans on getting him the surgery but shouta always told him, "In my whole life, I would do anything even die if I had to forget that person who I love and been there with me most of the time even if they left," He muttered most of the last part but Hizashi thought he just mumbled something. Shouta Aizawa takes notice to how his best friend, Hizashi Yamada, seems to be struggling with his past recently. Shortly after he finds out and attempts to grow closer to him like they had been in the past, Hizashi mysteriously disappears without a trace. It looked like he was crying, but he wasn't making any noise. Shouta noticed a burnt smell, concealing a cough. It was enough of a sound to make Hizashi notice him, pure terror in his eyes as he used his arms to shield his face and neck. "Zashi, it's me, it's alright." It was obvious that he didn't recognise him in the slightest. Hizashi was completely frozen as Shouta came closer to him, hoping for some sort of realisation. Still nothing. He looked over his friend, scanning for injuries. He had scrapes and bruises, but nothing too bad. At least, that's what he thought until Hizashi bolted past him to get to the door. His uncoordinated legs fell out from under him and he crashed back to the ground. Shouta put a hand to his shoulder in an attempt to calm him down, but he clawed desperately and flipped over, thrashing around to get Shouta off of him. Shouta held on. He looked into Hizashi's eyes, then down his neck. Trust is a fickle thing, isn't it?
Trust for Izuku Aizawa was a fickle thing, he'd constantly be forced to switch between trusting someone with his whole heart to hating them with every fiber of his being. Such was the story of his father, his teachers, his classmates, his old friends, hell even his own mother (though he never did or ever could hate her). The only person he trusted was his sister and it stayed that way for a long, long time. It stayed that way until he was adopted by Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada, he gained a new brother and sister both of whom he loved dearly. He finally felt able to trust the people around him and it was a breath of fresh air for not only him but his sister as well. There were bumps in the road but his new family stayed together.
