This women's day has become most important in the current scenario as we experience the impact of Covid and as we witness the war grounds of Ukraine. Across the globe we see as the pandemic lock down and layoff was hit on the women labour force, many of them seen engaged in the domestic chores. The economic well being of women needs a focus and equality has to be exhibited.

Why and how?
This significant day is celebrated every year on March 8th, it marks the efforts to raise awareness on women equality. This day was first celebrated during 1911 and it has taken shape and has always been celebrated for the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe. The day got its significance after the United Nations adopted it in 1977. Later during the year 1996, the United Nations announced the women's day theme as 'Celebrating the past and planning for the future'.

The theme for 2022:
"Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow".
It is also made significant that the world free from bias, bringing quality and inclusiveness will be the celebration that lasts forever.

This has been conceptualized as "Break the bias"
