The Maze was supposed to be the end, the end of all trial and labor, the end of emotional and physical suffering. They were supposed to live a peaceful life as a gift for their long journey. They couldn't be more wrong. Their journey has just begun. What toils anticipate the group as they set out on an adventure much more terrifying than the Maze? Will the past finally escape or will they be abandoned to walk the sea of desert that scorches their minds?. Betrayal is normal here, death is inevitable, fear is a friend, hearts can be mended, but they will question it's indefinite, will they abide or become yet another soul astray in a place called The Scorch? Where the Flare prospers and Cranks meander the land, where lightning is blue and potential is miniscule, but can hope deliver them all? The time for lies is over.
Just to magnify the connection in this book to The Maze Runner series, I will NOT be titling the book similar to the ending cliffhanger like I usually do, this book will be built on the title, much like the original, which means this book is about one being The Inadvertent! Hope you guys love the book! And, if readers pour in, I will definitely make fanfics for the next book The Death Cure! This cover is dedicated to the hard work of @snowcoming! (This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". This will cover the events of the scorch trails and the death cure.) --- Emi, her twin brother Thomas, and a small group of gladers had been rescued and taken to a safe haven. Or so it seemed.
