An AU in which the main plot didn't actually happen, Uroko-sama doesn't live inside Shioshishio, but in a n abandoned shrine somewhere far away outside the town, and Kaname is able to create and control (not really an accurate word, but anyway) Sacred Fire, the fire that can burn underwater, Sayu is a sea person, Hikari and Manaka are officially a couple, and lastly but not least, the reader is stuck in a love square with Kaname, Chisaki and Tsumugu! 



Many years ago, before Kaname was born, Shioshishio's shaman, his own grandfather, proclaimed a prophecy of doom, however, it was never fully deciphered. 
The prophecy was as follows:
Soon there shall be born a child,
The fire inside him burning wild,
Yet calm as the sea, and he shall hide,
Ne'er to be found in the ocean wide,
Hearts of those that he once knew,
The inner storm they shall brew,
True intentions shall be known,
With his beloved reunite, or walk alone.

Ofunehiki: the ofunehiki is a festival that both the land and ocean people, the sea gods power is weakening and salt flake snow will keep falling and might freeze the world killing all humans and until his power his renewed the ocean humans must hibernate, they believed the only way to please the sea God was to perform the ofunehiki. The original pairings of this anime were hikarixmanaka, chiskaixtsumugu, and kanamexsayu. This story will have the pairings hikarixmiuna, and chisakixkaname only!
