Max Palmer never asked for magical socks. But somehow, he ends up with them-along with a mess of sock monsters and a whole lot of questions that no one, not even the author, seems to have answers for. Between battling socks that come to life and dodging endless plot holes, Max is seriously starting to regret ever pulling on that first pair. Oh, and did I mention the author (aka me)? Yeah, he's dealing with Max's nonsense, too, and constantly questioning why on earth he agreed to write this mess in the first place. Full of random magic, a lot of chaos, and more fourth wall-breaking than anyone can handle, this 15 chapter comedy is pure absurdity. Watch them as they break the fourth wall every once in a while , while trying their best to overcome their own personal hardships . __________________________ This is a Short Comedy Novel .Read the Author's Note beginning of the Book . A lonely, cynical, heartbroken man embarks on a path of self destruction. His own life has taught him how romanticism ruins love, but still he develops romantic love for another woman. Right when things seem to go well, there's a supernatural twist to the tale. Will he win against his fate? Is there anything called fate? Ouroboros and hedgehog's dilemma form the basis of this story. Also, though, this is a dark comedy, there won't be any offence to any of the races/religions/genders.
