Blake is a grim reaper. More specific, he is one of the four grim reaper in New York.
Everyday he is collecting the Souls of humans, werewolves, vampires, nymphs and many more.
He has no right to judge, just to do his job. But then, there are more and more Souls that are killed by the raven. A hunter with raven mask and throwing knives, who kills those who have no heart, who commit crimes, who are rotten by heart.
