New beginnings are nice. They allow you to start again, and erase every old mistake, every scar or blemish on the surface of something. Well, almost. Hundreds of thousands of people would kill to get a new beginning, to simply start again.
Grian is familiar with new beginnings. It had only been a few months since he leaved EVO, and he'd been quickly accepted into the group. He's used to the chaos on the server, expecting anything. However, what he doesn't expect is to find a portal in the middle of the wild.

Lies, Deceit, and Secrets
A long time ago Grian was an admin of an amazing server, but he was kidnapped from it, never to see his friends again. Then, he escaped, but everyone was gone. Now he's found a new group to befriend, but they don't trust him. Has he truly escaped his past, or is it bound to catch up to him sometime? Dear Reader, This series is a watcher!grian AU but will alternate perspectives. I've only ever watched Pearl's and Grian's POVs of Hermitcraft so some creative liberties will be taken. This is not my first time writing but this is my first time showing my series to the public eye so please be considerate. Remembrance | Hermitcraft Fanfiction
When Grian joined Hermitcraft, he had no idea how he'd gotten there. Or who he was (other than his name). In fact, he didn't remember anything about his past life at all. So he starts over on Hermitcraft, making new friends and starting a new life. However, as time goes by, he starts remembering more about himself, bit by bit, seeing his past life through dreams and memories.
The Watcher-Prime
Xelqua (or Grian to the hermits) isn't sure what he is. He's always hidden from Minecraftia, hidden behind various masks and hoods. If the full truth about the mysterious prime admin were to be revealed the entire world would face catastrophic consequences. As the watchers rise to prevail over the admins, and Minecraftia is thrown into dark turmoil, Grian will have to make a choice. A choice that could destroy the entire world along with all his friends. The Higher Powers are Grian's only chance to save Minecraftia. Only to find their descendants, Grian will have to journey through ancient servers with his fellow hermits and keep his identity secret. Truths are revealed. Promises are broken. And a web of lies threatens to be destroyed forever. "Did I have a choice?"
