The community of Shrouded Bay have always faced... supernatural complications. For the last 207 years a dark mist has befell the town every month on the new moon. Each time it came it stole something small. Some produce, a book, clothes set out to dry. Sick of this, the town left offerings so they would not loose anything. For 8 generations this worked. The fog would come and take its offerings before leaving. Then, after 192 years, when the 9th generation came into the world, the mist decided it wanted more. But, instead if small items this time, it took lives.

Jupiter and Mariana ,15 year old twins from Shrouded Bay, have always been a little more adventurous than their mother would like. They tried to do outside when the Mist came, or they'd plan slumber parties on the edge of the cliff surrounding the town. They and their friends have always found it strange that the Mist became more bold the year they were born. Now, after 15 years of being told it was their generation's fault, they plan to solve the mystery of the Mist. Can they help their town, stay close and safe, while also struggling to understand themselves as they grow as teenagers? Only time will tell.

After three epidemics, fifteen wars and plenty of government disagreements, the world stopped numbering their years. The last recorded one was 2104. During that year, all hell broke loose. The continents started merging together, forming one giant landmass like they did when the dinosaurs were roaming around. All the countries disappeared and were replaced by sectors: Arctic, Ocean, Jungle, Desert, City, Cavern, Sky and Forest. In the very centre of the landmass, there is a small portion of land that is not claimed by any sector. That piece of land is home to one thing and one thing only. The Hollow. The Hollow is a small cottage, white-washed and red-roofed. It used to house criminals and now is occupied except for beasts that are caged in the Grotto, which is the name people have given to the basement of The Hollow. Now, since The Hollow is useless unless you need somewhere to store mythical legends, children are sent there on the seventeenth of each month to face tests to check if they are fit for living in this world. No child has ever lasted more than a few days. Until now. Eric Alastor is a thief who has no friends or family by the age of seventeen. Elisaveta Nebula is a girl who carries around knives to protect herself from the criminals crawling around her sector. Together, they will face The Hollow. Daring to walk alongside death every day, they develop a strong connection. Maybe it's just from the circumstances. Or could it have something to do with Eric's troubled past... Will they face their challenges with a smile on their face? Live to tell their story?

(This is book 2). It has been five years since first arriving to the nuclear shelter. Hikari Hada, now 11, wishes for an exciting, fun life outside of being stuck in a underground shelter. A life where she can play and run around in the grass as the sun shines down on her...the sun she hasn't seen in half a decade. Robin, now known as "Celosia", Beval, Gaia and Kimberly are all in their twenties now, equally stressed out about the state of their shelter. Celosia, regardless of her friend's annoyance, constantly has her mind on Shimizu, the boy who swept her off her feet five years before. It was as if all hope was lost until an injured Filipino boy was rescued and taken into the shelter, revealing something that will change everything. Betrayal will happen, confessions will be voiced, secrets will be exposed, chains will be broken, a journey will be taken, and a New World Order will start as a World Leader will rise to power. Will Celosia, Gaia, Beval, Kimberly and the others ever be able to leave the nuclear shelter? Will this World Leader be taken down? Will they ever be able to live a normal life again? And most importantly, will this boy be the map to uncovering the truth? What will their destiny be after all of this?
