Denise Parker is a typical teenager of 1987, living in Deadborn Heights, Michigan. Everyone is listening to the newest records, getting them right as they reach the nearest record store. One day, Denise and her sister Lee decide to take a different route home. When they find a record store on the way, of course they can't deny the temptation of listening to something new. But when Lee buys a sketchy record, things get crazy and out of hand.
