17 year old Katie Grey's life has never been fair, born with Cystic Fibrosis Katie has already had to deal with more than most kids her age, which is why the unexpected death of her parents feels like she must just have the worst luck in the world. Now devestated Katie must leave her beloved home on the coast of New England to live with her mothers childhood best friend in rural Montana. Just trying to get through the next year of her life before being able to move back the last thing Katie expects is to have a decent senior year of high school, she certainly doesn't expect to fall in love, not with the Mountains of Montana nor the family she is forced to life with and certainly not next her door neighbor!
