Like My Favorite Shirt

Annessy is known to be a jack-of-all-trades. She was proud and bold of her improvised thinking, craft, and the early concept of being responsible. She grew up in a household where knowing all meant fewer openings to be taken for granted and trouble.

After Annessy ran away from their family dinner, she thought to register in her university dormitory. She wanted a home perhaps a university can only give. She was left with a coin in her pocket and liquor in the other as if her utopia was ambushed from her in one sitting. However, as soon as she landed her feet on the backyard fences on the campus premises, the light opened. A soft congratulatory song filled her ears and was overwhelmed by the presence of her three friends who were singing it.

The day that she knew what's the transition-age youth behold, was also the same day that she felt that being eighteen is like missing her favorite shirt.
