Evan Whitlock has wanted nothing more in his life than answers to his questions. After losing part of his memory after a traumatic experience. He doesn't know who to blame.

Did he blame himself for something he potentially did? Or did he blame someone else for something they may or may not have done?

He felt alone, trying to fill the empty void inside. But failing at every chance to do so.

Living in Mystic Falls, Evan was aware of the supernatural world. Because he was a part of it as was his family. But they weren't normal. Normal in comparison to the rest of the supernatural community.

They didn't belong to any faction. But Evan didn't know what his parents were. Or even what he was, for that matter.

He felt as if more people knew about him than he knew about himself.

He felt like a fish out of water. An alien in a world of humans.

The only thing he had was a curiosity and a growing destructive power. A power that he feared was the single cause of all his troubles.

When he is sent to a private school...he discovers that he might finally have a chance at answering his questions.
