Everything's seems to be almost perfect for Irene Reed, even thought letting her hatest subject go fall apart, she didn't care of it at all, but she never thought this could affect her life, because of her subject teacher decided the most smarter person in the class to tutor her, she thought it'll be okay cause this might really help her and she really needed help badly, but unfortunately it was her most hated person, she even begged her teacher but it has no effect, how could she focus on studying the subject if the past keeps on reminding her. Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
