Indigo Givens is a 17 year old girl. She is happy on the outside, but on the inside, she is very depressed. No one knows about her depression. Or that she cuts because everyone at her school bullies her. Indigo has to deal with fake friends because if she tries to get rid of them they'll come back. They have broke her promises many times. She doesn't know who to trust anymore. Everyone ignores her when she tries to start a conversation. Even her mom and brother ignore her. She always has to fake a smile and hide her feelings. Sometimes she even wonders if it would be easier to give up on everything. Will she get close to somebody and open up?

His stepmom seems to hate him but not fully. They have a weird relationship. She's the one who sells him. He's curious. He's very stubborn, too. When he makes a decision, he doesn't go back. It takes him a while to realize things. Indigo Chávez is a smart-ass. He likes to talk back, and he never thinks before he speaks. He feels like he's above everyone but never admits it. All the pieces of his story don't seem to fit. Something doesn't make sense. The more you read, the more that makes sense. The book alternates between him, the people in his life, and back in time to his father and his sister's father. In the end, maybe the only ones truly there for you are your siblings

I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it.
