Coral is 20 and is at Clemson, trying to get into the Harvard medical program to become a cardiologist while she finishes her undergrad years at Clemson. she the average girl not popular but everyone knows her name. 



Jake is a ph.D. candidate who is trying to come up with solutions to heart cancer. he never talks to anyone (except his partner for his research) and is a loner and never does things outside of work. People don't like him; they think he's full of himself. 




The professor at Clemson teams coral up with Jake so she can get used to dealing with heart problems and treating them. Jake then gets called into a cancer research facility in Miami FL. Coral is forced to go with him if she's wants to finish up her undergrad years and get full credit. 


Coral is forced to communicate with Jake, and their relationship begins to grow. If you want to see what's happens READ THE BOOK!!!!!!
