Skye is a relatively normal fourteen-year-old. Goes to school. Plays sports. Has a wacky friends group.

And.
Dragons have been living in Skye's world for over 500 years.
No one knows where they came from. Some say the dragons descended from the sky. Some say they emerged from volcanoes and the ocean. It didn't matter where dragons came from. Dragons were there, and they were going to stay. Skye's town had discovered a way to befriend the dragons, and the town had quickly incorporated dragons into daily life. However, not all dragons are friendly. People had to protect the village. Skye and her friends find themselves in some strange predicament, which then leaves them scared, confused, (a little angry) and the only Preservers left. The job was dangerous, but Skye and her friends have dragons.
