It's been 4 years since monsters had been released to the surface once again, peace between races wasn't an idea anymore, but a law that was to be enforced. 
While some monsters got accustomed to the idea of a new home in the surface, a few others decided to stay behind and keep taking care of the underground, only home they ever knew. 
Amongst them a shadow arose, the lonely figure of a forgotten scientist with an only mission and purpose; to bring back to life the trapped memory of a once human child.

Chara has been forcefully awoken from deep slumber by a strange individual. Although weary, she decides to accept his help to get back to her feet. Her temporary (and slimy) soul provided by her savior seems to be working just fine, but strong negative emotions might make it dangerous to hold.
To keep her mostly-alive old vessel, Chara will have to learn to control and pacify those dangerous feelings, starting with making amends with a traumatizing past.
