(A re-write of my first fanfiction ever. Credit to BellaDoodles for the cover and for helping me to write this)
The events of the Magic Library ended in tragedy and bittersweet victory; Armen's body was destroyed, Drake and his friends were forced to separate once again, and the Library itself was lost as the mountain began to erupt.
Mia returned to her archeology, believing her work could return her to her friends.
Drake finally succumbed to grief over his now-revealed brother
Grayson searched and searched for the Dragon Hatchery, but found that his actions against the Empire had unintended effects.
2 years pass, and our heroes find each other again, but they aren't all the same people they remember. With a new element thrown into the mix, and a deadly threat on the horizon, will they find that they have all changed for better... or worse?

With Grayson assumed to be in hiding, the emperor has ordered his top assassin, Luke and the rest of his mercenaries to find the Enderman hybrid to use him as bait for Grayson, but rumors from spies have spread in the palace that the hybrid is more than meets the eye. Drake struggles with keeping his mind and health in balance as a demon is threatening to take control of his body to spread his chaos and destruction. He searches for his lost friends in hopes that they will help him find salvation, but fear can block out the most begging of cries. Grayson has been laying low trying to find the drago hatchery, but complications come wayward when he discovers his friends condition and comes face to face with a problem he should have gotten rid of long ago. The past has ways of returning, and even the most dreadful of memories can become ones fate. (Warning!
